Blokus is an intellectually progressive board game. While the concept is simple, the game is complex. The idea is that players must fit their pieces, which are square chips, onto the board. However, in order for you to be able to put a chip on the board, your piece must be touching the corner - and only the corner - of another piece of the same color. When you get the highest amount of chips on the board, you win. Many have commended Blokus as a great game that improves the way kids understand "spatial thinking." The game has been highly commended by studies of educational games, including by Mensa.
